hi all, my first attempt at posting anything on any forum, any help appreciated. the l/h rear window on my 1999 est. goes down but not up, i have removed the motor and it checks out ok, the live wires to the motor are ok and reverse polarity when switched up and down, the only fault that seems to be there, is that the earth seems to dissapear when the switch is operated to the up position, is there a control unit somewhere?? and where is the wiring loom routed from the l/h rear door.?? any help appreciated.

the drivers switch pack is suspect i would have thought.

thanks to The Great One, after further investigation it appears that the earth pole at the drivers switch pack the switch for the left rear window loses the earth when operated in the up mode. thanks for suggesting i look at that. further, does anyone know where i can get a switch pack from, second hand is good for me
