Not that it can do any damage to your computer but it's not working properly...Last night I had Reason adapted working flawlessly..I had a stereo track w/ rewire selected on one of the inserts...On the rewire insert I had it selected for output L&R etc... Like I said, it was working fine, then all of the sudden there was absolutly no sound going into pro tools...Reason would show signal but the signal would not and could not get to pro tools. However when I opened up reason on it's own and the sound output was the digi hardware It was fine...Sound and everything... Can anyone think of a solution to this problem?

You also need to have the Reason (rewire) plugin on a stereo AUX track, which you then route to a stereo audio track. Otherwise, you'll get no signal on your audio track when you try to record.

You can have your Reason plug-in on mono or stereo tracks...audio or Aux. It's just when you put it on an audio track your kinda wasting that track (because you have to route it to another audio track to record) and we have 32 of them.

My other quesion is why it is that sometimes on my rewire insert I have the option of only 2 channels mix L and Mix R....While other times I have the option of channels 2- 60 or whatever the limit is...???It changes on its own it seems...Oh and would I be able to route each instrument (in reason adapted) to a seperate pro tools channel?just wondering if I had that option in Reason adapted.... You know the answer...you are just in the 'computer where the hell is it' mode. Stereo for a setero AUX Track and Mono for a mono aux track. Make a sereo track, Reason is stereo "Mix L-R" as output. Insert on a mono track and you get 2-60 mono inputs- good for individual drum hits.
