I finally finished a video with h.264 and succesfully muxed the ac3 audio and the chapters file together with the video to mkv format using MeGui. I installed the mkv package. I can watch the video fine in Windows media player, but the chapters do not work. What player supports chapters in mkv files or am I just missing some part of a package. Searching I found a ton of references to chapters, but no advice on playing them. Thanks, Mark

VLC works great for me!

Haali Mediasplitter. Right click on matroska tray icon and there are your chapters.
