do you think it's safe to go with the A7V333 and let's say an Athlon XP 1900? Fry's has that combo for like $249.95 I believe. thanks again!

yes, and I should have taken that in consideration as the PC here seem not to like the Digi 001. Still not working, under win98se or me.
