First let me say if this question has already been answered in the FAQS, I apologize, but looking through them and searching the forums, I am still a little confused. Ok, I'm using GKNOT, an a the part where you use DVD2AVI, I just pick the single DD 5.1 English track and select to demux it. When that is done, I go back into GKNOT. Now here is my question. If I want a DD track, do I simply check the the 1x AC3 button under the audio options and then finally under audio right before I encode, I just select Just Mux? One more quick question. In GKNOT, if I were to choose 1xVBR MP3, and run this too a receiver, would I be able to use Dolby Pro Logic sound, or is that something totally different? Thanks in advance, and I once again apologize if these questions have been asked many times, I just couldn't find the answers.

ABR = Average bitrate
Lame have a parameter that can be used to control center-side/dual channel stereo. Or, with DivX3.11alpha there was a utility called MP3set stereo that will do the same thing.
Thanks Hakko504 for all your help. One more question and then I'm done. Does the mp3 have to be ABR format, or can I use my preferred method of VBR for D Pro-Logic.

ABR is a form of VBR where you target a specific bitrate instead of a specific quality. Just use high quality VBR and you should be alright.
