I have some files that have a sample rate of 88.2 kHz. When I try to open them I get a message that says "The current playback engine does not support a sample rate of 88.2 kHz". I have an mbox. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The MBox hardware is not capable of anything above 48kHz.. either get an 002 or convert the audio files. Rail

How would I go about converting the files? Any specific software that you would recommend? Thanks for the help.

Create a new session and import the audio files (Ctrl+Shift+I).. Pro Tools will convert them to the current session's sample rate. Rail
