I have actually created my first 1:1 It works meaning it goes to the warning (australia,uk 20th century fox typical initial screen)) this is as per original comes before movie then it jumps to title 4(I assume vts_4) and stops playing.i know from previous dvdrs I have my philips doesn't like these warning signs and it has done this before with those. Can someone tell me if it is poss to remove them so the film goes directly the 20th century intro. I'm so close but not there yet,I do hope the worst is behind me.It plays on my standalone(meaning I can see the warnings but it jumps to the last title which is 4 and as I have 4 vobs I assume this is title 4)when it should be going to the menu, I would like to remove the warnings(which are the first thing the dvd plays) to see if it plays ok from there. I have read the ifoedit guide but I don;t wanna mess this up. I know this means nothing to you but it means something to me.i know I know i have done it right, anyway if no -one replies, fair enough but we gotta start somewhere and this is not something I'd class as beginners authoring. If I get this right I can move onto multi pgc's I understand the guide and have practiced it.One final thing is there a guide to making dummy ac3 files with headAche not seen one. Thanks eyes only if you look in for the headAche info(letting me know scenarist accpets them) just need to know how to create them.

Use the DVD player in ifoedit. This will tell you which title sets are being played. Let it play to the movie. Then look at the Video_TS.ifo file for info: Title 1: VTS_01_* (Tells you that title 1 is vts_01) Title 2: VTS_02_* (Tells you that title 2 is VTS_02) and so on.... Thing is that title 1 may point to vts_04 or Title 4 may point to vts_01. Once you figure out how it is stuctured, you can find the problem. Derrow has a guide on this. Download it from here: Unzip it to a folder and double click on index.html. Then look for copy a dvd with main movie and with menu. This will explain it. Hope this helps. @MOD: Hope direct links are allowed. If not, I do apologize. Bear

yes you can skip that... all you got to do is.. open VIDEO_TS.IFO in ifoedit. under VMGM_MAT (the only immediately bellow) click the + sign inside First Play PGC (which is the first thing to be played upon the insertion of the disc), scroll down until you find PGC Command Table. you can delete all the post commands, if any, and leave only one pre command. right-click on it and chose edit command. chose the command jump to title (the one after NOP) and select the title 4. like Bear263 said play the movie using video_ts.ifo in ifoedit and not vts_01_0.ifo (if vts_01 is your main movie) because it will tell you what titles were played and where they are located. if you use vts_01_0.ifo it will only tell you which titles were played. Bear263 example: Title 1: VTS_01_* (Tells you that title 1 is vts_01) Title 2: VTS_02_* (Tells you that title 2 is VTS_02) if you want to know what are the really esential files for the DVD to work. use ifoedit player and play only the main movie.

As for making dummy .ac3 with Headac3he-- Open your source file .ac3 (a real .ac3 from your project) in headac3he. Change Destination format to AC3. Change start frame to 1 and check the checkbox next to it. Change end frame to 3 and check the checkbox next to it. Hit Start. *done*
