Which one do i choose? I have removed WMP and i am only using MPC. There are 3 different codec pack, WM VCM WM Codec for WMP 7,8,9 WM Codec For WMP 6.4 WHich one do i need?

Don't be so quick with the assumptions. Codec packs for "WMP 6.4" Are going to be quite old and will not contain the necessary decoders. The VCM one is mainly for VFW encoding and decoding and should not be used in place of the directshow AX. As such the one for WMP 7,8, and 9 would probably be the one to use. But the whole talk of codec packs is making me nervous. Once MPC is installed I have found it easiest to download the codec archive from and install the dlls I need in the windows system32 directory. A simple cut and paste operation. Using the codec archives there you should be able to decode WM9 QT6 and RV10 all without installing Quictime or real player.
