Hi all I have a couple of niggles with my 2.5glt as follows A:no tracs ? (not that botherd) but could this have a bearing on the other problems ?:errrr: B: Abs light come on at start up goes off after about 35 seconds the self test does not always work but when you drive it and brake hard it locks up (dry joints in control unit???) but my cv joints are rotten could the sensors not be reading the rings on them due to rust build up? also speedo is intermitant. Thanks in advance for your time. regards Adam.

Get the ABS ECU scanned for fault codes and clean the reluctor rings, the ECU is also prone to faults.
