Hey everybody, I am using the Waves NPP1 and NPP2 w/ PTLE. Here's the problem: While the NPP1 plugins appear in both the Audiosuite (editing window) and RTAS insert (mixing window) menus, the NPP2 plugins appear only in the Audiosuite menu. Any idea why this might be the case? Are the NPP2 plugins only Audiosuite? By the way, both Power Packs are authorized to run on one dongle. Any info would be much apreciated. McCrack

These must be 2.8 versions if you still have the dongle, right? You could try trashing the Waves Preference file and the DAE Preference folder. That sometimes clears up these kinds of things. The other thing that can happen, is that when you first load Waves, and tell the Waveshell where your plugin folder is, one of the boxes is marked "use Audiosuite only". If you have accidentally checked that box, you'll only get the A/S versions, not the RTAS versions. Trashing the prefs above should give you that window again so you can ensure the A/S box is NOT checked. Other than that, you should call Waves tech support and explain the problem to them. Make sure you have your dongle's serial number and that you've registered your products. Otherwise, they ask you to do that first. lwilliam, Trashed the prefs for both Waves and DAE and it worked! All the plugins now appear in the insert menu. Thanks again. You're a life saver. McCrack
