It's way to early to post this, but screw it. I just purchased my reaper license moments ago and I'm riding on a cloud of (mostly) guilt-free excitement. I started this the other night. I need to put a bridge at the end of the second verse (and then probably two more verses). For now it just loops into an empty third verse. I should also probably retrack all the vocals once it's all said and done. Comments/criticism welcome. Update: :)

hi, wow, lots of water :-) apart of your voice flickering left/right for some reason it's a nice start. personnaly I'd put the voice more in the distance. It's a bit too close for me. cheers, m

I recorded some acoustic guitar tracks and an egg shaker tonight and focused on the overall mix. Version 3: I still need to record some more vocals, but I'm still playing with the lyrics in my head. After trying some spectral analyzer plugs, I decided to try adding some EQ to the master channel, which I almost never do (it somehow seems wrong).
