I Just Reformatted my Hard Drive and Reinstalled Protools, after putiing in my serial number, It started launching and then stopped and gave me the Unable to Create DAE folder !!!! Please Help ! Thank You , Karim.

Hi Karim, This generally means the PCI card isn't installed. Very effective copy protection! Try removing the card and re-installing it, ensuring it's firmly seated in it's slot. Phil

It could also be mismatched version of PT vs. DAE. For instance, I had PT Free and then bought LE. I got that same message on installing the LE and discovered that the install did not dump the Free DAE like I thought it would. I had to dump all the old software before the install for it to work. You can use "GetInfo" to find out what versions are on your hard drive. Good luck!
