I have a Lexicon Omega and it comes with an excellent Lexicon Pantheon reverb plug. Unfortunately it only works woth Cakewalk products. I have to assume Cakewalk is DirectX so the VST/RTAS converter probably will not work. Anyone have any luck making Cakewalk a slave to PTLE 6.4? Thanx for your thoughts

Cakewalk is a rewire host, it will not function as a rewire slave. I have had success in the past syncing cakewalk on a separate PC via MIDI, but I'm not sure that's what you are looking to do. Just to clarify, Cakewalk is not DirectX in itself, it uses directX plugins (like the pantheon). There is a way to use directX plugins in Pro Tools, but it's kind of sketchy. You would wrap the with the vst2rtas wrapper. I have only had minimal success doing this, and honestly, I gave up on it because it wasn't stable for me. YMMV

cakewalk project 5 is both rewire host and client, but its such a cpu pig that its basically worthless for running together with PT in rewire mode.
