Hi folks, I'm making a video clip with Vegas Video 3 from big AVI files captured with my DC10+. So these are MJPEG 768x576 PAL interlaced video. Problem is : I'd like to bob-deinterlace the vid sequences I use in the clip before encoding the clip itself (to get smoother slow motion with 50 fps and no blinking on a tv screen). But I have not enough space left on my HD to convert ALL the videos. So I'd like to deinterlace ONLY the sequences I use. I can't see any solution : - Save project with trimmed media option only work with DV files, not MJPEGs (just got this info from the Sonic Foundry Technical Support) - Vegas Video doesn't support AVISynth scripts - Vegas Video also gives me garbage (strange colors) when using the link2 program to link my AVISynth scripts with AVI files. I tried to force video type, it doesn't change anything... I'm out of ideas ! Could anyone help me ? Do you think this could be achieved by frameserving with VDub ? Thanks for any help ! Djidjo

djidjo: Since you have Vegas Video I was wondering if you have this problem like i do. See I am trying to build a motion menu for my dvd and using Vegas to do it. The problem is that i can't import my video clips into Vegas. I tried with SVCD mpegs files and .mpg files from dvd. The error that i got from Vegas saying "the plugins that handle .mpg is not register and they ask me to register." Do you have that problem when importing .mpg files ??? If possible can you share that plugin serial ??? I don't know why i got that error....email
