I just heard from a person "in the know" that Digi has plans to release a control console that will eclipse the Pro Control. Apparently it will be competing directly with a product that APPLE/EMAGIC/EUPHONIX is working on as well. Anyone else heard this?

I too have heard that rumor. If you think about it, how can it not be true, given the age of ProControl, and the need for digi to have a more compelling high-end alternative to Control24? -MattiMattMatt

The Max Air console by Euphonix looked VERY interesting to me.... Have a look and see what you think. Perhaps THAT is the Nuendo prototype in sheeps clothing...... To make a more serious desk would make sence for Digi...

That sounds great but when is this going to happen? They really ought to make a board without the mic pre's that's more affordable than pro control.
