The graphics card went out on my old macbook pro so I had to buy a new 15 retina 2.8 GHZ quad core today. My question is how do I get Reaper off my old computer and on to my new one..... drag and drop?

First of all, way cool on the new Mac. I'm a PC user, but I also loaded REAPER onto my wife's Mac. I copied my user license to a USB thumb drive, and dropped it into the documents folder on the Mac. Then I downloaded REAPER from the website, saved it to a folder, and installed from there. As I recall, it found the user license info during the install. It was a real cakewalk. (Sorry, I couldn't resist the pun.) Since her Mac and my PC are not of the same species, I didn't connect them, and simply moved some of my REAPER project files along with the associated files to her computer via that USB drive. Silly me, it didn't occur to me to send it through the WiFi. Drop and drag of your files and folders would be the simple way once you have REAPER installed. :-Don

If you can still access your old Reaper version... Open the 'Preferences' and on the very first page (General, I believe) you will see section that allows you to export your Reaper configuration file. This should help.
