Hi everyone! Are there rumours about faster than realtime bounce to disk? Will it come? And if yes, when? ...and how about a new DUC-term FTRTBTD for faster than real time bounce to disk....

I would hope that a faster bounce to disc would be put in PT, but I have heard no rumors. I've been doing a project with long sessions, 1 hour or more each, long time to wait for a bounce especially when this project is going to MP3 anyway. John

Really a non issue for me as I use external hardware 100% of the time. Also, as an old analog dog, being forced to listen to the final mix is quite normal for me. Having said that, I can see where that feature would be a godsend in some post production situations. Now you see why I was on the debate team in High school...
