Absolutely, it will slow down at some point. Nobody can keep up this pace forever. I think even Kenny G. suggested as much recently. Should you worry? Absolutely not... even when they slow down they'll still be twice as fast as most everyone else. And let's be realistic... there is already some "not at all" isn't there?
Cockos could stop tomorrow and I'd still have the best DAW around. But really, the rate of Reaper's development is mind boggling. You have to figure at some point the pace will slow down. But concerned? Nah.. :) Regards, DB
I'm starting to think that maybe the price should be raised to 70/250 just for a while so that Justin can pick up a bulletproof car and a Cadillac health plan.
That wasn't Gol, that was Scott that put up an invalid Google Insights chart. There is really no way to get accurate data on Reaper the daw ("Reaper" brings back all kinds of things). His search criteia was cockos reaper with 0 results... so that chart was a little misleading. There's no way to accurately fit Reaper into those stats. Anyway, reading the entire thread it didn't seem (in the context of the discussion) they were ragging on Reaper at all. Here's the chart with "Reaper". The problem is obvious, there are a lot of references for "Reaper" so there's no way to tell which were related to the actual daw. There's a TV series, an Air Force drone and all kinds of things that are related to that name.

Technical authors note: This here is what we in the Untied Kingdom refer to as Meaningless Bolleaux. Personally, I find DAW Wars quite amusing but not something I want to waste too much of my life discussing. I think we`re done here now...
