Hey there, I just finesh installing PT7, and 10.4 and I went to make my standard template for a new session by going to get info on my template icon, and checking the stationary pad box. I opened the session, and instead of getting the old familier creat new session or edit template box, it automaticly made a copy of the session file and didn't make a subsequent foler, or audio files folder or fade files folder. Does anybody have a hints on how to make a good template with the new OS?

known issue. open template from within PT and you'll be good. drew

You can also drag the session from the Finder onto the PT icon in the dock.

I also miss the feature that when you created a stationery pad, the icon looked different which made it easier to distinguish it from a normal session file. In PT7, templates look just like regular sessions. Small detail, but since we're on the subject...

I use the import session data method for template usage. i.e. large master templates for rewire multi-tracking, melodyne bridge tracking, live tracking with multi headphone feeds... Import what the current session will need and I'm good to go. New session or sessions in progress work for this style.
