I got some scratch guitar tracks recorded at 180. I wanna hear em at 190 or 200 and have them still follow the click when I reset it to the desired tempo I want. How do I speed up the tracks to an exact bpm? __________________
Hi Greg, Go to the main menu, select "File -> Project settings", then go to the tab "Project settings" and set "Timebase for events/envelopes/markers:" to "Beats (position, length, rate)". Now you can change the tempo. If you reset it to the original value, all should be as before. Hope I got what you were up to. -Data

Yes that's what I was going to say :) But being as I created a picture, I may as well post it. This one was changed from 120 to 140 and you can see the playrate is 1.167 in the Wav track (which equals 140/120). Pete

BTW: You can also set the tempo by entering it in the BPM-field of the transport bar or (if you have the master track visible) by pulling the tempo envelope up or down (you have of course to make the envelope visible first).
