I am really going out on a limb here but something similar happened to me when I had my movie avs and credits avs set up with the correct trim values but I reopened the d2v project in Gknot and it forgot my "Set Credits Start" value. Maybe it is something like that? Check the Trim values of your two avs and what it says in Gknot for credits frame. Just a suggestion, not sure if it's something totally different.

that sounds like that just may be it! i set the movie to rip a day before along with others it got late so i just deleted magnolia from the queue but i had set credit start and everything. When i set it up again the next day i loaded the d2v and set credit start again. Im sure thats what it is. Thanks alot for your help.

this definitely has nothing to do with credits, though i have to admit that what happened here is quite strange... seems to be a codec problem. did you activate divx5 pro features although you only have the basic version installed?
Ive got DivX5 Pro installed. I havent made any changes to Gordian Know or any codecs for about 2 weeks and since then Ive converted 10 movies successfully so i have no idea! Im converting another movie now so i will see how it goes. I just wanted to say thanks for a great piece of software Wef, keep up the good work and I look forward to Gordian's successor!
