Aloha from Kauai, Hawaii! My sound card is integrated, manufactured in my HP Pavillion Compaq desktop pc. Do I need to add a special sound card for REAPER to record properly? If so, what type of card should I buy? Mahalo, bruddah!

Hi On the functionality, you should be ok with onboard sound device. Although input monitoring won't allow efficient latency settings you'd get from an ASIO driver. As for the audio quality, well....
