When programming MIDI by hand, it would be very helpful to have defaults sepecific to EACH note (C-1 to D9). While not very helpful when programming synthesizer, pianos, et cetera, it would be very helpful when programming drums (specifically sampled drums with varying velocity layers). For example, I almost always program my drums such that the kick is at 127, the snare is at 127, cymbals are at 120, et cetera. Thoughts? If this gathers enough interest, I'll put it into the Tracker

Maybe this helps (for the time being ;)) If you enter a note at a certain velocity value, all following notes will be inserted at the same value. Also, if you right-click in the piano roll or the list of the drum-editor (use ctrl-right-click to select more than one note row), you can select all notes of that note at once. if you now right-click on one of the selected notes, you can choose "Note velocity" to set all selected notes to one velocity. But probably you knew that already. :) Maybe you have a look at the links in my sig. -Data

Yeah, I know a lot about how to deal with the midi, but I'm just suggesting more properties that can be assigned to each note :D
