I have digi 001 on a G4 with protools 6.4 os10.3.2 I had it working fine and put it away for a year while building my house. Hooked it back up and it is so noisy! Even with every knob turned down and all software off the headphones and all outputs have a loud disgusting sound like the buzzers on game shows. I have double checked the card is installed correctly (as far as I know). I even tried turning off all the power in my house except in the computer room. Also I would try to use digitest to diagnose it but I don't have it on my puter and I can't figure out where to download it. Can any one help me?

Possibly a ground loop problem. Who did the electricy in your new house?

I did the electricity. I am willing accept I might have screwed it up, but I did test the outlets with a tester and they tested ok. How can I check for a ground loop problem?
