Hey guys, Sorry if this has been covered. I love the JS IX/MIDI_Tool II but I'm finding that it only rechannelizes note information. It doesn't do the mod wheel, pitch bend, after touch. All of that is passed through to the original channel. I don't know anything about the JS programming (or programming in general for that matter) but if someone can help me perhaps just copy the "Mode" function from the JS: IX_MIDI Router to the Tool II, that would solve my problem. Thanks, Comfort
Yeah, it's just for notes. I should've called it MIDI Note Tool. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. IX/MIDI Router will route everything, just notes or just control messages. Edit: Oh you know about the router. :D
Here's a quick mod of MIDI Tool II which I haven't tested but should work okay. Anything that isn't a note can optionally be sent to the original channel, the new channel or both. It should be safe to overwrite the original with this new version but let me know if you have any problems.

Will the newer version be included with the next Reaper update? I find JS plugins difficult to handle. No version reports. And the installer overwrites(?) after each update.
For now all the JS effects are installed in Reaper's folder under the folder InstallData. After you run Reaper, those files get copied (AND overwrite old files!!!) to the AppData folder. This is exactly why I always delete the InstallData folder before I run Reaper after every update.
I want to rechannelize based on pitch value to new tracks, which js would be the right one or which have this option? I have no overview at all over these millions of js plugins? Do we have a nice js index anywhere, where also their capabilities are listed shortly? Reaper wiki maybe? No documentation there yet. For example I would like to rechannelize kick, snare, clap and closed hihat to different tracks. As rules I would need capabilities as: kick: pitch < 36 snare: pitch == 38
Also, the version in the installer is newer than the version above. I updated all the included JS scripts a while ago.

I tried it, as it does not anything special, I am using now volume_pan which can do the same for my above case. I prefer volume_pan as it has much less parameters.
