The two best free ones AFAIK are Shortcircuit V1.2 (version 2 never finished) and Independence Free. For Independence free, which sounds like what you are looking for, you drag and drop up to 25 .wav files per layer. Shortcircuit you can just drag and drop, too, from the media explorer. These do have some learning curve. For YT, you install it with its "root folder" which is where you have to put your samples, or copies of your samples. Then you just create a new layer, and grab twenty five samples and drag and drop them into the layer box (the box that says "new layer") Then there are different editing windows to use. Nothing available that is completely simple to use except for ReaSamplomatic, that I know of, but it doesn't have the ability of your sampler workstations.
