I am running PT 5.0 on a PT 24 card with 2 vintage farms (G3/255) and have had no real problems in years of use. This morning I try to instantiate a new plug-in and I get a message that I am out of DSP. I check the DSP meter and it tells me I am using 2 instances of Amp Farm that are hijacking 2 chips. While I may have used Amp Farm on this session in the past, currently I am not. There are no Amp Farm plugs visible on my mixer. Nothing greyed out... Nothing at all. I only have 2 or so other Waves plugs going. What is going on? Is there a way to reset this or tell PT that there are no instances of Amp Farm in the session? Is it a corrupt session? If so, how can I fix this? HELP! Craig

Start by trashing protools and amp farms prefs. If that doesnt work trash ampfarm app.then reinstall it.

Check for hidden tracks. You'll probably find something there.
