double clicking and right clicking, then clicking "open items with built-in editor" both do not work. Has anyone else ever had this problem? Any ideas? I uninstalled and re-installed and still the same thing happens.

This might do it: open the problem project (the .rpp file) in Notepad. look for something like: <SOURCE MIDI HASDATA 1 960 QN E 3840 b0 7b 00 GUID {C5752751-F6B8-4E49-9FE9-BFFD174A3F53} IGNTEMPO 0 120.00000000 4 4 VELLANE -1 106 CFGEDIT 0 0 0 0 0 2 1 0 0 1 1 0.25000000 341 268 1045 736 0 0 These numbers "341 268 1045 736" are the co-ordinates of the MIDI Editor window. I think. If they look odd, edit them to something sensible, such as "200 200 400 400" and save the project file. HTH
