What is the max width tyre I can fit on 6.5J wheels?

Standard for 16" should be 205/55 so use 225/50 if you want to go wider. 205 is about 8", 225 is pushing towards 9" any bigger I would be looking for a 7J rim.

Hiya, I use this website quite often for these kinds of questions: and according to them, 225/55/R16 would be OK on wheels from 6J to 7.5J However, do take Volvo specific advice from forum members as that website will be only be general guidelines... HTH, Pete
