Hi, and thanks in advance if you can help me out. Not new to audio, still a bit new to reaper, and very new to the Roland Quad-Capture. So pointblank I can't get anything from quad to reaper. I know reaper is working fine I have a sound blaster I can record into and using ASIO. Problem being when I set up my Quad Capture I can't even start the playback on reaper. The playhead wont even move. Quad is working fine I can plug headphones in and I get a GREAT signal. So in short, Why can't I get Reaper to record my Quad? I'm sure I'm doing something wrong or maybe I miss read something somewhere in the middle of setting everything up but maybe you guys can help. Let me know if you have any questions I need help fast I have a lot of work coming up soon. Thanks

Do you have any other software that might be hogging your interface and preventing Reaper from accessing it?

If you are using ASIO with your sound blaster card then go to windows device manager and disable sound blaster, as far as I know you can only use 1 ASIO device at a time, Make sure you have the latest drivers installed for Quad-Capture(can download them from Rolands website) unplug Quad-capture, plug it back in and give it a minute to find and load drivers, open Reaper, go to options menu/preferences/audio/device and make sure you have ASIO and Quad-capture selected for input and output apply changes.
