You can contact Sony's parts department via phone to order dl blanks. The tech I spoke with was not sure when they would have the media on their website for order. Lonwa

DVD+R DL is a fact, but so is the fact that the laser is purple/red and so far no other color dye works with it. In the same fashion the first (and still best) CD-R dye is green/blue.
