We like the PiP (don't we)? Why has it been removed? What is the PiP's future?

The PiP is coming, but not yet developed enough to make it in a release version. So it will be living in alphas until it's matured enough.

Didn't download the prerelease and was a bit inpatient about this. I could download it, but why when there is a new full release? :o -Data

Can someone explain to me the basic needs of a PiP feature. Why do I need to load any project in a dedicated track and do other stuff when I can just simply continue recording and etc. on the same PiP as opened .rpp file?

It will be a great thing for me who uses drum loops all of the time for my rhythm bed. Soon I can create that and load that project into another and not lose a single CPU cycle to re-sampling or length changes.

@NAS is PiP like the Live mode in XT 1.4?

Nope nothing as advanced as the live mode in XT 1.4 i'm afraid hehehe Would be nice if it could do some of that stuff but i don't see many people around here wanting to use Reaper as a performance tool Mainly just recording so i don't see it high up on the devs list NAS

Well, maybe it will be more advanced when the "Bitch is Back."
